Is Dawn Better Than a Professional Grade Surfactant?

When is comes to price per ounce for dawn dish soap compared to professional grade surfactant, dawn dish soap appears to be cheaper cost at face value but when a premium grade surfactant is thrown in the mix, its changes everything.

1 Ounce of dawn dish soap on average cost 17 Cents

1 Ounce of Premium Grade Surfactant cost 25 Cents

Here is the kicker. A premium surfactant can be diluted up to 3 times or more depending on how would choose. Already we are looking at an eclipsing difference at the upfront cost when buying online.

Secondly Dawn is not meant for pressure washing and soft washing. (Hence the name "Dawn DISH Soap"). In a pinch it can save the job from going sideways, agreed. Although surfactant overall is a WINNER on all fronts. Some of the biggest issues with Dawn soap is its ability to clog up tubes, filters and the biggest of all, STREAKING WINDOWS.

Premium Grade surfactants are chlorine stable and do exactly what a surfactant is intended to do. 

SURFACTANT should  1. Not degrade the bleach

                                    2. Hold on to the surface when sprayed

                                    3. Easily rinse off when water is applied. (Even after completely dried.                                                                                                                                                                            4. Foaming properties to show we are getting SH in the line.

Lastly, we recommend finding a solid premium grade surfactant from Power Pro Nation to choose from, all are intending for soft washing and pressure washing. We understand what is needed out in the field and we can definitely say...... its not a soap built for washing dishes.
