Best Surfactant For Pressure Washing

To first know what is classified as the best surfactant for pressure washing we must clearly state what determines it. Meaning what dictates a good surfactant from a bad surfactant soap for pressure washing.

The Top Five Factors

  1. Thickness
  2. Cling/Hold
  3. Foaming Ability
  4. Easily Rinse
  5. Scent (optional)

Thickness

Lets break it down into why all this matters and why you should care. (you will multiply your money)

For starters sodium hypochlorite has a very thin viscosity and even worse when we add water to it leaving it weak for cleaning without running off. The thickness of a surfactant means it has not been diluted by water (your getting a pure product). This way you are getting more bang for your buck by literally thickening the bleach in your tank. Our surfactant carries bonding properties to make this all possible. Therefore you will use much less than if just applied alone.

Quick perspective one gallon of chlorine cost $2 here in south florida but the surfactant needed is 1 Ounce (0.06 cents).  for that gallon. Bringing down the usage needed to $1.60 instead of the $2 meaning your saving 40% but wait........ theres more......

By having a solid surfactant in use the thick chlorine mix wont run down easily to beautiful plants that cost big big big money to replace.

Meaning by using a surfactant the saving and future cost risky saving as huge, that is why we are such big believers in our products built exactly for this for people exactly like you.

Cling and Hold

We have kept our soap cleaner pure to maintain the very best cling on the market. Instead of your soft wash mix hitting the surface and falling off without any effect, it needs a very small amount of time to work (Yes even a product that works instantly needs time). When mixed with surfactant that chlorine will bond to the roof, house wall, window or flatwork surface and allow time to work through. The other alternative would be to respray once or twice more meaning more expensive chemical and more chances for plants to be harmed.

Foaming Ability

The foam coming from surfactant allows us to see if we are truly pulling our soft wash mix or if there is an air leak present that needs to be addressed immediately.  That is just the beginning. I personally love to give my customers the experience of a high end luxury car wash. Think of it from their perspective, when spray high foaming bubbles to clean their windows and walls, it feels like a genuine car wash experience BUT FOR THEIR ENTIRE HOUSE. The perceived value is instantly added by just a few drips of surfactant.

Easy Rinsing Capability

The last must have for a premium surfactant is the ability to quickly and easily rinse it off once the product has done its job (remember we don't do the work, our equipment and products should)

A mediocre power washing soap wont like to be dried out and will leave big ugly streaks on the windows and the customers especially will call you back to remove by hand. (Ask me how I know....)

Our surfactant is made for harsh weather and can be dried without any issue and be rinsed off.

Lastly is the cover scent or scent added to our soft washing surfactant soap.

This is definitely optional but trust me you wont regret trying it out. The purpose of using a cover scent is to do exactly that, cover the smell of bleach.

It again goes back to the customer experience in what they smell, making the whole service a pleasure from start to finish. This is what separates you from the rest of the pressure washing companies. Everything you use and do means and smells like clean. What they use is pure bleach and kills plants instantly.   Which company does you think will win??
